Scheduled Maintenance Tasks
Preventative maintenance is essential for smooth operation. Parts Tracker lets you schedule regular tasks and automatically creates shift-based work lists to track work to be done and task completion. It also lets you enter ad hoc tasks to be completed by a due date. And tasks automatically populate the maintenance log so you retain a full audit trail of work performed.
Shift Tasks
Shift tasks occur regularly according to a schedule you define. These includes things like daily cleaning tasks. You can assign the tasks to a specific shift, it can be for all machines, a range, or a count (e.g. 2 machines per day).
For tasks that occur for example for 2 machines per day, Parts Tracker automatically tracks which machines still need to be done and restarts from the beginning when they are all done (and handles people doing them out of order if necessary).
Ad Hoc Tasks
Ad hoc tasks can be created at any time and assigned to a certain date range, person or shift. The task can be for one machine, a range of machines, or be a non-machine task. Task completion can be tracked per machine (or pair), or as a single one-off task.
