After you download...
You may need to download some additional files, depending on what other software you have on your computer. You only have to do this when you first install Parts Tracker. If you're just updating Parts Tracker, you can skip this.
If you don't have Microsoft Access® installed
Microsoft Access® is used by Parts Tracker.
If you don't already have it installed, you will see the following dialog box:
You can install a free version of Microsoft Access by (called Access Runtime) following the link below.
Only do this if you don't already have Microsoft Access (or a version of Microsoft Office containing the Access program) installed.
For users of Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008:
Download the Microsoft Access 2013 Runtime 32-bit (212MB).
For users of Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003:
Download the Microsoft Access 2010 Runtime 32-bit (175MB).
Important: the 32-bit version of Microsoft Access must be used even if your PC and Windows are 64-bit. It not possible to use Parts Tracker with the 64-bit version of Office/Access (even if you install Access Runtime). It is recommended to uninstall Office 64-bit and install Office 32-bit instead.
